The province of Saskatchewan has expanded the list of in-demand occupations associated with both its Express Entry and In-Demand Occupation sub-categories, from 19 occupations to more than 200.
In the latest overhaul by the province of Saskatchewan, they have expanded their occupation in-demand list significantly that is in-line with two subcategories of Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) – Express Entry and In-Demand from 19 occupations listed to more than 200 occupations.
For to be eligible under these two streams of SINP, candidates do not require a job offer or work experience in Canada.
SINP’s Express Entry sub-category allows the express entry candidates to apply for the provincial nomination. If an express entry candidate is able to land a provincial nomination certificate, they are awarded 600 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) points. These many points effectively guarantee that the candidate gets an ITA (Invitation to Apply) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
